Now the platform has updated the new version of the app for iPhone users. After this update, many features like Transfer Chats and Silence Unknown Callers have been made a part of the app. You can also take advantage of these features by updating the messaging app to the latest version. Transfer chats
WhatsApp users can now easily transfer entire chat history, including messages, media and settings, from an old iPhone to a new device. After the new update, users’ dependence on iCloud or local backup will end. This feature is available to all users running WhatsApp on iOS 15 and above software versions.

Redesigned sticker tray
Meta has made changes to the interface of WhatsApp and now searching for stickers in this app has become easier than before. Users can see stickers related to keywords just by entering them. For example, typing Happy or Sad into the search bar for Happy or Sad mood will show stickers with similar expressions and can be sent in chats.

Larger set of Avatar stickers
The messaging app recently rolled out a large set of new avatar stickers for users to customize their chatting options. New expressions and poses will be seen in these stickers. Users can create their own avatar by tapping on the ‘+’ icon visible in the sticker tray in the app. Users can convert their selfies into stickers by clicking them.

Video calls in landscape mode
WhatsApp users are now getting an easy option to do video calling in landscape mode, which earlier could only be done in landscape mode. Now in group video calls, many people can be talked to simultaneously and more people’s faces will be seen on their video windows screen.

Silence unknown callers
WhatsApp calls coming from unknown numbers do not bother users, for this the Silence unknown callers feature has been made a part of WhatsApp. This can be enabled by going to Settings followed by Privacy and Chats section. This feature does not play ring tone for WhatsApp calls coming from unknown numbers and mutes them.
