We are saying this because 50 sacks of ginger loaded in a truck parked on the highway in UP’s Basti were stolen. The surprising thing is that the police post is a few steps away from the place where the ginger was stolen. And secondly, the road where the truck was standing is a National Highway.

Actually, a truck driver named Pawan Kumar was coming from West Bengal towards Delhi by loading ginger in the truck. His house is on National Highway 28 under Kaptanganj police station area of ​​Basti district. While passing through here, he thought to go home and rest and would leave for Delhi the next morning.

Ginger worth lakhs stolen

Pawan parked the truck on the roadside and went to have dinner at home. When he returned to the truck on Thursday morning, he was shocked. Because 50 sacks filled with ginger present in the truck were missing. The value of the stolen goods was lakhs of rupees. Pawan immediately informed about this at the Kaptanganj police station and lodged an FIR.

Regarding the matter, Deputy SP Vinay Chauhan says that after receiving information about theft of goods from the truck under Kaptanganj police station area, a case has been registered and further action is being taken.

The price of ginger is Rs 250 per kg

Let us tell you that these days ginger is being sold in the retail market for Rs 200 to 250 per kg. At the same time, tomatoes are also beyond Rs 100 per kg. The rates of other vegetables are also skyrocketing. In many states, the government is making Tamkar available at a low cost.
