Samsung Wallet users will now be able to save everything from digital IDs to documents and boarding passes.

Generally, apart from cash in the wallet, there are important things like Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving license and vehicle registration certificate (RC). Where cash has now been replaced by digital payments, the rest of the documents will also be stored in Samsung’s Wallet service. This means that having a Samsung Galaxy phone in your pocket can make you completely stress-free. The company is calling it a big step taken towards Digital India.

Documents become part of Samsung Wallet
Users do have the option of downloading digital versions of their documents and digital IDs in Samsung Wallet. Now they can also access Co-WIN vaccination certificates digitally. Along with new travel and mobility features, users will also be given the option to make UPI payments in addition to Tap & Pay and manage FASTag account with Samsung Wallet. Users can also save information like boarding passes and train tickets in Samsung Wallet.

More than 2000 types of documents will be saved
The company has told that in addition to the four main digital IDs – Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving license and vehicle registration certificate, now more than 2000 types of IDs and documents can be stored in Samsung Wallet. That is, no matter what the document is, it will be saved in the document immediately. Not only this, the documents saved in the digital wallet can be used for airport entry. Rest of the documents can also be presented in case of need.

Documents, tickets or bills do not have to go through a long process to make them part of the Wallet. Apart from scanning QR codes or barcodes, users can also upload images and PDFs directly to Wallet. They can be accessed or shared later at any time.
