Pakistan PTI Chief Imran Khan Arrest Warrant Issued By Election Commission Give Responsibility To Islamabad IG

Pakistan Imran Khan Arrest Warrant: In Pakistan, the problems of former Prime Minister and President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan do not seem to end. The Election Commission of Pakistan on Monday (July 24) issued a non-bailable warrant against Imran Khan in a contempt case.

The Election Commission of Pakistan had earlier called Imran Khan several times for appearance, but Imran Khan did not appear. After this, the Election Commission has entrusted the responsibility to the Inspector General of Police (IG) of Islamabad for the arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan.

Accused of using indecent language
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had last year initiated contempt proceedings against Khan (70) and former party leaders Asad Umar and Fawad Chaudhry for allegedly using indecent language against the Chief Election Commissioner and the Election Commission.

A four-judge bench headed by ECP member Nisar Durrani had issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Khan and Chaudhary along with granting relief to Umar in the last hearing on July 11. The bench fixed the date of July 25 for the hearing.

Failed to appear before ECP
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) said in its new order that even after notices and bailable warrants were issued to Khan on January 16 and March 2, he had failed to appear before the ECP. Regarding this, the Election Commission of Pakistan has issued a non-bailable warrant against former PM Imran Khan.

ECP has ordered to arrest and present the order by 10 am today. On this, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan said that this is the conspiracy of the Home Minister behind all this.

Imran Khan’s reaction
Imran Khan’s reaction on the matter has also come to the fore. He said that efforts are being made to remove me. Another warrant was issued for this. At the same time, a hearing has been held against Imran’s wife Bushra Bibi, two sisters and one in a Pakistani court. In this, the exercise of declaring both sisters and relatives as fugitives started.
