Akhand Bharat Mural Pakistan Nepal: Seeing the map (mural art) of ‘Akhand Bharat’ in the new building of the Indian Parliament, some neighboring countries have become enraged. First Nepal and now Pakistan have raised objections regarding ‘Akhand Bharat’. Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that the so-called ‘Akhand Bharat’ shown in the new building of the Indian Parliament also shows the territory of Pakistan and other neighboring countries. This is bad intention, which exposes India’s expansionist mindset.

From the Pakistani side, it was said that they are worried about the mural art shown in the Indian Parliament, which the BJP leaders there are calling ‘Akhand Bharat’. The Pakistan Foreign Ministry said that the claim of ‘Akhand Bharat’ is a show of the expansionist mindset of the people of India, which wants to suppress not only its neighboring countries, but also the ideology and culture of religious minorities. Pak Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said- ‘We urge that India should stay away from expansionist ideology and come forward to settle disputes with its neighboring countries in a peaceful manner.’

Neighbors angry with ‘Akhand Bharat’ mural art
Let us tell that in the new building of the Indian Parliament, in the ‘Akhand Bharat’ mural, a map of ancient India has been shown, on which the names of the Indian states are written. In this mural art mainly present day Afghanistan, Pakistan, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Bangladesh and India can be seen together. Areas ranging from Manshari Takshashila in the northern part, Purushpur in the North West and Kamrup in the North East are visible. BJP leaders are calling it ‘Akhand Bharat’. If you look at the ancient history of India, then this map is not wrong. Because, earlier there were no countries named Pakistan, Bangladesh, Maldives, Myanmar and Afghanistan. They were established within the last 1000 years. And, it has not even been 100 years since the formation of Pakistan-Bangladesh.

Former PM Oli of pro-China Nepal also flared up
After some statements of BJP leaders about ‘Akhand Bharat’, this mural art installed in the Parliament has got embroiled in controversies. Former PM of Nepal Baburam Bhattarai questioned this and said that India should express its intention and send clarification to us. At the same time, former PM of Nepal KP Sharma Oli has also become enraged after seeing its picture. Oli said- A country like India which sees itself as an ancient and established country and as a model of democracy, keeps Nepali areas in its map and hangs the map in the Parliament, it cannot be considered appropriate. . I would say that our PM Prachanda should seek clarification on this from India during his visit to India.

Takshashila of ‘Akhand Bharat’ is now in Pakistan
Pakistan was created on 14 August 1947 by partitioning India. Before that the whole area was a part of India. Therefore, in the mural art shown in the Indian Parliament, many areas of today’s Pakistan like Taxila, Mansehra, Sindhu, Purushpur, Uttarapath have been shown which were part of ‘Akhand Bharat’ in ancient times.
