‘Not only bread, cloth and house, education and health are also important…’, said RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat – RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat said that the good things happening in the country now are discussed 40 times more than the bad things. Also said that in today’s era, not only bread, cloth and house, but education and health have also become necessary in today’s society. He was speaking after inaugurating the Dhankuvarben Babubhai Dhakan Hospital (Suvarna Hospital) in north Mumbai’s Kandivali suburb in the presence of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Mohan Bhagwat said that ‘many times negative discussions are heard, but when we move around the country and see, we come to know that the good things happening in India are discussed 40 times more than the bad things happening in India. He said that today the reason for the progress of the country is the policies of the government and responsible people in the government. Also said that things are going smoothly because some people do nothing. If they work then there will be problems.

The RSS chief said that the desire among people to see India achieve glory is stronger today than it was 40 years ago. We are growing but we are still not that powerful. He said that there are some people who do not want to see our upliftment.

Bhagwat said that today not only bread, cloth and house, but education and health have also become necessary in today’s society. What is the yardstick to decide what is good or what is bad? There is one thing that appears and there is one thing that actually happens. One can make it look as if it has been done, even though it has not been done. He said that in our case both the things are important. doing (good) deeds and showing that good deeds have been done,

Bhagwat recalled the visit of Adolf Hitler’s foreign minister von Ribbentrop to England before the start of World War II. He said the British knew he had come to see their (war) preparations, made cardboard planes and put people in soldiers’ uniforms. By doing this, they forced the Germans to think that they were strong.
