Apart from this, according to Reuters report, South Korea’s Yonhap news agency on Tuesday quoted its military as reporting that North Korea fired a ballistic missile into the sea near its east coast.

Earlier, North Korea had launched the missile twice last week. One last Saturday and one last Wednesday. On the cruise missile launch on Saturday morning, South Korea’s joint military chief said that four cruise missiles were fired from the North Korean side in the Yellow Sea between China and the Korean Peninsula at around 4 am.

Japan had lodged a protest

On the missile launch on Wednesday last week, Japan had said that North Korea launched two ballistic missiles towards the east in the early hours. After this, Japan lodged a protest. Japan had lodged its protest against the missile launch through diplomatic channels.

In fact, North Korea was infuriated by the recent talks between the US and South Korea regarding the deployment of weapons at the military level. Enraged, North Korea had conducted a missile test. Along with issuing a warning, it was said that the deployment of America’s nuclear-capable submarines and other diplomatic assets in the region could become a compulsion to use its nuclear weapons.
