(Reuters) – An electric truck that was previously damaged was restarted at Nikola’s Phoenix, Arizona headquarters on Sunday afternoon, but no injuries were reported, the electric-truck maker said in a statement.
The company said, “At Nikola HQ at around 2 pm today, one of the previously damaged trucks turned over. No one was injured and the fire was quickly brought under control.”
It comes after last month’s fire when Nicola reported a fire around its headquarters and said it suspected a conspiracy behind the incident, which affected several trucks but caused no casualties.
The damaged trucks were kept at the company’s Phoenix site for “safety monitoring and ongoing investigation”.
