Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the situation in Manipur. He said- PM Modi has hurt the sentiments of the people here by comparing Rajasthan with Manipur. The way Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the CM of Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh should take care of the law and order situation in the state, it has hurt the sentiments of Rajasthan. Gehlot said- Modi has been going abroad. But he did not go to Manipur.

He said- There is a BJP government in Manipur. Can you imagine what would have happened if there was a Congress government there? The CM of Manipur himself has admitted that thousands of incidents have happened there. An estimated 3000 to 4000 FIRs have been registered in Manipur and these people are comparing Manipur with Rajasthan. Sporadic incidents have taken place in Rajasthan, which cannot be compared with Manipur.

‘PM to review the situation in Manipur’

If PM Modi could not go to Manipur, he should have called a meeting. The situation in Manipur should have been reviewed. For the first time I have seen that a Prime Minister is visiting Karnataka, Rajasthan and other places for elections but not Manipur.
