India vs Australia Series Schedule: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the schedule of the domestic series for the next one year i.e. 2023-24. Meanwhile, the Indian team also has to play the ODI World Cup at home in October-November. But just before that, the Indian team will also play ODI and T20 series against Australia at home.
Now BCCI has released the schedule of this series along with the entire season. Mohali, Indore and Rajkot did not get to host ODI World Cup matches. The Mohali management and the Punjab government strongly criticized the BCCI for this.
ODI series will be held in September
But now BCCI has made up for this and has given Mohali as well as Indore and Rajkot to host the ODI matches of the Australian series. The first ODI match against the Kangaroo team will be held on September 22, which has been hosted by Mohali.

The Senior Men’s team is scheduled to play a total of 16 International matches, comprising 5 Tests, 3 ODIs, and 8 T20Is.

The second ODI will be held in Indore on 24 September. While the last ODI of the series will be played in Rajkot on 27 September. After this, the Indian team will go directly to play the World Cup. Where the team’s first match will be held on October 8 against Australia at Chennai ground. The final match of the World Cup will be played in Ahmedabad on 19 November.
BCCI also made Shashi Tharoor happy
After the World Cup, the Kangaroo team will stay in India only. Here he will have to play a 5-match T20 series against the Indian team. Its first match will be played in Visakhapatnam on 23 November. After this, the second T20 match will be played in Thiruvananthapuram on 26 November.
By hosting Thiruvananthapuram, the BCCI must have made Congress veteran Shashi Tharoor happy as well. Let us tell you that Tharoor was also angry when Thiruvananthapuram did not get to host the World Cup match.
